Sewer Relining
It’s nothing anyone wants to deal with, but sewer lines can crack, break, become infiltrated by roots or fail for some other reason. In the past, the only real way to fix a broken sewer line was to replace it, which required extensive digging – often tearing up concrete in and around your property. But recent technological advances in the septic and sewer field have allowed us to make this process far less intrusive and destructive to your lawn.
Trenchless sewer relining technology allows Ace Pelizon Plumbing to reline sewer pipes for our San Gabriel Valley area customers without destroying their lawns. Sewer relining is an effective, less expensive way to fix a sewer line with leaks, damage or other soon to be problems. Regardless of the types of issues you’re experiencing with your sewer line, call us today to learn more about our services and how they can save you a lot of money and aggravation in the long run.
Trenchless Sewer Relining
The first step in the trenchless sewer relining process is to clear out any debris, roots or dirt that might have built up in the line. This is done with a high pressure jetting system. These systems are inserted through an entry pipe and used to clear your sewer line without having to dig up the ground above the entire length of the pipe.
Next, a length of liner is inserted into the pipe through the same entry port. The length of liner is designed to provide protection against buildup and root infiltration in the future. This is often a much less intrusive option than replacing the original pipe, which would require digging up the lawn.
Sewer Relining Benefits
Trenchless sewer line relining takes much less time than it does to replace the entire pipe or put in a new pipe elsewhere. In most cases it still requires a permit, but it is much less disruptive and often costs much less.
Because the resin material used to seal the pipe is designed to withstand roots and seal up cracks in the old pipe, it is the same as having a new pipe installed with stronger, more resilient material. Most of the relining material is rated for up to 50 years of service, meaning it will work for your home decades into the future, especially if you follow up with regular maintenance.
