Q: If I call today for service - How soon can your technician be at my home? A: Usually the very same day. At Ace Pelizon, we work hard to meet your particular needs for serviceand will do everything possible to get your plumbing, sewer or electrical technician there when you need him. Although, not common, there are times that because of a high demand for our services, or when we receive a call late in the day - that we are unable schedule the call for the same day; if this occurs we will strive to schedule your service call for the next mutually acceptable time.
Q: Will I have to wait around all day waiting (and hoping) for your plumber or electrician to arrive? A: No - At Ace Pelizon Plumbing, Sewer & Electric, we schedule appointment for a “tight” two-hour window, so that you are not “wasting” your whole day waiting for the technician to arrive. In fact leave us your cell phone number, and we will notify exactly when we will arrive - this will allow you to run errands or otherwise go about your business without waiting around the house.
Q: On your website it says that you offer “Up-Front” pricing - What does this mean? A: In the “old-days”, a plumber or electrical contractor would quote you an hourly rate, and charge you separately for any necessary materials, equipment and taxes on top of that - This was a problem for many homeowners, because they did not know exactly how many hours they were going to be charged - or the cost of materials, equipment or taxes BEFORE the work began. This method of pricing can lead to “invoice surprise” when the total bill would end up being double, triple or even more than the homeowner was originally contemplating. At Ace Pelizon Plumbing & Electric, we provide you one flat price for the entire job - including labor, materials, equipment charges, permit fees and taxes BEFORE we start your job - The price you are quoted IS THE PRICE YOU PAY.
Q: What variety of services do you offer? A: Ace Pelizon Plumbing, Sewer & Electric provides a wide variety of plumbing and electrical service and repair services to homeowners in the San Gabriel and Chino Valleys. Along with expert plumbing, sewer and drain cleaning services; Ace Pelizon specializes in trenchless and traditional sewer repair and rehabilitation. Ace Pelizon also provides professional electrical services from the small switch replacement to a whole house rewire and panel upgrade. See our “Services” pages for more information.
Q: Your website says that your technicians are drug and background screened - Why should this be important to me? A: At Ace Pelizon Plumbing, we believe you have a right to feel comfortable about the people that come into your home - You should not have to worry about the safety of yourself or your family just because you happen to need plumbing or electrical services. All of our employees take a pre-employment drug screening tests and are interviewed and background checked by an outside private investigation firm in an effort to make sure your technician is not only a skilled tradesman, but also a person of excellent character.

Q: Is Ace Pelizon Plumbing, Sewer & Electric insured? Aren’t all plumbing and electrical contractors required to be insured? A: Yes, Ace Pelizon Plumbing, Sewer & Electric carries full general liability insurance for up to $2,000,000, and workers compensation insurance up the amounts required by law. Ace Pelizon Plumbing believes that you should be fully protected in the unlikely event that damage occurs as a result of the work we perform at your home. No, in fact contractors are not required to have insurance at all - however, a recent law does require a contractor to inform you in writing whether or not they carry general liability insurance - and supply you with a copy of the insurance certificate upon your request. Regarding workers compensation insurance; many contractors sign a declaration stating that they have no employees, so that the contractors state license board will not require them to maintain workers compensation insurance. Signing this declaration of “no employees” is legal as long as the contractor does not employ ANYONE in performance of his work. If the contractor does have employees or “helpers” on the job site, and they were to become injured - the homeowner could be exposed to potential liability for the workers injuries. The contractor can also face criminal and civil charges for not having workers compensation insurance for their employees. Always ask the contractor whether or not he carries both general liability and workers compensation insurance - and demand a copy of this insurance certificates - Do not allow work to begin UNTIL you have proof of insurance coverage.
Q: The last plumber, I hired left my house a mess after he was done with the work - Will Ace Pelizon clean up after the work is done? A: Yes - Our men are REQUIRED to clean up the mess they make while performing a job - in fact our men carry many basic cleaning supplies on their trucks, so that they can leave your place looking as good or better than when they arrive. If you are ever not satisfied with how your home was left after a job - please call Paul, John or Daniel at 626-331-0701 - We will take steps to make sure you are completely satisfied.
Q: How long are the warranty periods for your plumbing and electrical services? A: Ace Pelizon Plumbing, Sewer & Electric generally offers some of the longest and most complete warranties in the plumbing and electrical contracting business. Of course, the exact warranty period will depend on the nature of the job: 1) Drain and sewer stoppages: can carry a warranty for up to ninety (90) days. Sometimes, depending on the type of drain line - and the presence of unwarrantable conditions, such as damage, the presence of foreign objects or other aggravating factors; we are unable to offer any warranty on stoppages - Make sure to discuss any warranty period or lack thereof with your service technician. 2) Plumbing & Electrical Repairs: Our repairs generally carry a warranty from between 90 days up to one year, unless stated otherwise. At times - if requested, we may perform “temporary” or “stop-gap” repair designed only to make the plumbing or electrical system functional until a more permanent solution can be performed - “Temporary” or “Stop-gap” repairs generally do not carry any warranty. 3) Plumbing, Sewer & Electrical System replacements or rehabilitation projects: generally carry a limited lifetime warranty: All work and materials are guaranteed for as long as you own your home - or for up to fifteen years from the date of installation, if you later transfer (sell) your home.
