An Immigrant, a Trade, and a Dream

In the early 1950s, Norman Pellizzon immigrated from Italy to Canada, where he learned the plumbing trade. In 1954, he moved to Southern California and spent several years working for local plumbing companies before opening his own business in Covina in 1957. That business became Ace Pelizon Plumbing.

Norman believed that if you did honest work, treated people fairly, and stood behind everything you installed, customers would remember you. Nearly seventy years later, those same values guide every decision we make.

The company's name carries a piece of that history. Norman shortened the family name when he launched the business — in the 1950s, "Pellizzon" felt too ethnic for the sign on the truck. The spelling changed. The family's work ethic, pride, and commitment to quality never did.

John Pellizzon — Three Decades of Leadership

Norman's son, John Pellizzon, grew up in the business — summers in the shop, learning the trade alongside his father, developing an instinct for plumbing and a respect for the customer relationship that would shape everything that followed.

After graduating from UCLA, John came back to the family business. In 1993, he purchased Ace Pelizon from his father and spent the next three decades expanding it throughout the San Gabriel Valley — growing from residential plumbing into commercial service and building lasting relationships with property managers, HOAs, and businesses across the region.

The company moved locations several times over the years — but always stayed in Covina. In 2011, after nearly a decade of pursuing the property, John purchased and renovated the current headquarters at 138 East Badillo Street.

Built to Lead the Next 70 Years

In 2022, Dan Juarez joined Ace Pelizon as General Manager, bringing a background in commercial services operations spanning HOA management, facility maintenance, and janitorial services since 2012 — for both private equity firms and family-owned businesses.

In March 2026, Dan acquired Ace Pelizon Plumbing with one vision: honor the legacy, invest in the future, and build a company that will proudly serve the San Gabriel Valley for the next seventy years.

That means investing in people, strengthening commercial capabilities, embracing better systems and technology, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first call to final handshake.
